  • Our Background

McKendree Village Foundation secures financial support to provide benevolent care to eligible individual residents who have lived at McKendree Village for ten consecutive years prior to application for benevolent care.

McKendree Village Foundation has a provisional affiliation with the Tennessee Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church through June 30, 2012.

The McKendree Village Foundation founded in 1998 is exempt from Federal income tax as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as a public benefit corporation.

The McKendree Village Foundation also shall not be a private foundation by reason of being described in Section 509(a)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

With new ownership of McKendree Village by Covington Senior Living, the Foundation will during 2012 revised its charter and by-laws.

 

  • Our Mission

    The McKendree Village Foundation exists to identify, cultivate, solicit, and recognize individuals, corporations, and foundations whose charitable contributions support the operating budget, capital, and endowment for the benevolent care needs of McKendree Village residents and other senior ministries to be developed with and through the Tennessee Annual Conference.

    The Foundation nurtures and sustains relationships between McKendree Village Foundation and its donors, seeking at all times to honor the donor's wishes and to ensure the effective stewardship of their gifts.
